Garden designer and Geranium expert based in Hampshire.
After a long and successful professional career I am now designing gardens full time and I have a Royal Horticultural Society Diploma in the Principles and Practicies of Horticulture gained at Sparsholt College more recently I have become a pre-registered member of The Society of Garden Designers.
Originally from Cornwall, I inherited my love and ability for gardening from my parents and am often found at all hours in my garden (occasionally to the bafflement of my family)! I am passionate about planting, garden design and specialise in designing gardens that people can use and enjoy.
My passions include experimental propagation, organic growing and encouraging wildlife in all its wonderful forms and of course... Geraniums!
I pride myself on excellent work down to the last detail and most of all understanding what people want, even when they may not be sure of it themselves. I offer a range of services from one-off 'garden visit' consultations regarding simple issues like pests, diseases, drainage, plant identification, plant selection, maintenance manuals, specialist pruning to design solutions, blank canvas designs, redesigns, installations or matching a gardener or tree surgeon that's 'qualified and right for you'.
I studied Art and Art history in my youth and when not found in the garden I enjoy painting and drawing - you can find a selection of my art work here.
Please enjoy my website and do not hesitate to get in touch using the contact page with any enquiries you might have. My fees are always discussed at the outset so there are no surprises.
